Zithromax Best Price

Azitromicin is an antibacterial drug used to fight infection. Zithromax® is its brand name and comes in several forms including tablets, capsules, liquid suspension form, ointment, gel-capsules, chewable tablets, intravenous infusion solution, injectables, and inhalers.

Azithromycin is a prescription drug and you cannot purchase it without a doctor's recommendation.

Ampicillin hasn't been shown to work against C. trachomatis, which accounts for approximately 50% of cases of non-chlamydial urethritis among sexually active adolescents and 20–30% of genital infections in pregnant females. A newer drug called azithromycin does work effectively against C. trachomatis; however, experts agree that its use should generally be avoided due to possible side effects including diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and headache. The typical dose of azithromycin ranges from 500 mg once daily for 5 days up to 1 g three times per week for 3 weeks. Another option available now includes the single tablet regimen where doses range anywhere from 250 mg twice daily for 7 days to 2g daily for 14 days.

How does pharmacist pick work?

A pharmacist picks our top picks based upon patient feedback, plus product availability and quality assurance reports. We also factor in whether a brand name medicine has remained unchanged since its introduction, which indicates consistency and reliability. Lastly, we evaluate customer satisfaction ratings and reputations associated with each company.

Use of Zithromax (Azithromycin)

Azytromycine (Zithromax), is an oral medication prescribed to treat certain kinds of ear infection, bladder inflammation, chlamydia, strep throats, pneumonia & bronchitis, skin rashes, tonsillitis, vaginal yeast infections, gonorrhea, UTIs, genital herpes and non-gonococcal urethritis.

Azeomycin is a type of macrolide antibiotics which work by preventing the multiplying action of certain microorganisms. They stop growing and dividing before damaging healthy tissue.

The risks associated with taking antibiotics outweigh potential health benefits. Therefore, appropriate usage guidelines should be followed while using them. Misuse of antibiotics can result in reduced efficacy against bacterial infection.

Azithromycin Vs Zithromax - Which Is Better?

The type of medicine you receive depends upon what pharmacy you purchase them from. However while some retail outlets may carry Zithromax brand drugs, others offer generics instead.

Zithromycin works better while eating meals; therefore, taking Zithromax approximately half an hour prior to each meal should maximize its effectiveness. Be careful about consuming alcohol while using Zithromax, though – excessive amounts can worsen side effects including diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea and vomiting. Also keep track of how much water you drink while taking the medication, since too little fluid intake can increase risk of dehydration.

Take all medications exactly as directed by your doctor. Accidentally taking too much medicine can cause serious side effects. Don't stop medication without consulting your health care provider. Stop taking medication after each dose even though symptoms seem better once treatment begins. Call 911 right away if you think someone else took extra pills.

Do antibiotics interfere with my drinking habits?

Zithromax has not been shown to interact with alcohol.

Is there any risk if I am taking Zithromax while breast feeding my baby?

Talk to your doctor before taking Zithromax. He or she should evaluate whether the tablet is appropriate for you. Also consult your healthcare professional about how much medication to use while pregnant, nursing, or otherwise caring for children under two years old.

Who can use it

A number of medications used by doctors contain zinc gluconate; however, taking them does NOT cause allergies to begin with. That said, if you are sensitive to any antiseptic agents, including alcohol, then this medicine should probably be avoided. Similarly, if you are sensitive to any penicillins, cephalosporin, or quinolone class drugs, then you shouldn't use Azithromycin either without consulting your doctor. Your physician will know what side effects to expect based on your medical history.

Zithromax is approved by Health Canada specifically for treating urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains *E*. *coli* K1, O2 and O8 serotypes. Before using Zithromax, talk to your health care provider about possible side effects.*

It's important to tell your healthcare provider about all medications you use -- including vitamins, supplements, herbs and nonprescription drugs – especially before conception and while you're nursing babies. Your health care professional should ask questions to ensure you aren't taking anything harmful to either yourself or your unborn child. Of course, keep reading below for details on safe prescription drug usage while expecting.
